WHAT IS CARRIERE MOTION APPLIANCE?
Protruding upper front teeth (i.e. Class II malocclusion) is extremely common in patients. Aside from aesthetic issues, front teeth protrusion can also lead to jaw-joint issues or cause your back teeth to be worn out quickly due to an unstable bite position.
Hence, prior to getting Invisalign or metal braces, you may want to opt for a pre-orthodontic treatment phase with the Carriere Motion Appliance to generally improve your bite correction, thus effectively shortening your overall treatment time.
How Carriere Motion Works
The Carriere Motion Appliance works by derotating molars and facilitating the distalization of the upper teeth.
Once the posterior bite (i.e. Class I malocclusion) is stable, you can then continue your treatment with either Invisalign or braces.
