Advantages Of Invisalign Over Braces
Considering all the teeth straightening options available today,
Invisalign provides you with the most comfort and convenience,
with less maintenance required.
Virtually Invisible
Unlike traditional braces where wires and metal brackets can be seen, Invisalign is barely noticeable. This means you can always smile with confidence.Less Dental Visits
Unlike braces which require visiting your dentist every 3-4 weeks, Invisalign frees up your schedule with dental visits once every 6-8 weeks.Better Oral Health
Without the existence of wires and brackets, Invisalign gives you the convenience of removing aligners so you may brush and floss normally.
Continue Eating What You Love
Invisalign aligners are made with SmartTrack® flexible material, making it extremely easy to remove and put on, unlike braces which are fixed. Now, you can enjoy your favorite food any time you want to.More Comfort, Less Pain
Without metal brackets raised in the mouth, Invisalign exerts gentler pressure as compared to braces. There is also no risk of getting your gums cut, as the Invisalign trays rub smoothly against your gums.Invisalign Treatment & Procedure
The Invisalign treatment process to straighten your teeth is simple, quick and effortless.
1. Consultation & Diagnosis
During your first visit, your dentist will create a digital impression of your teeth using the iTero 3D Scanner to show you a before and after simulation of your teeth within 5 minutes. Using your digital impression, we will plan out the most precise treatment plan customised just for you.
2. Fitting of Invisalign Aligners
Once your sets of Invisalign Aligners are ready, you will be called down for another dental visit for fittings. Small tooth-coloured attachments will be placed onto the surface of certain teeth, acting as important handles that allow for proper tooth movement.
3. After Invisalign Treatment
Once you have finished your Invisalign treatment, you will need a set of retainers to maintain the alignment of your new set of teeth. There are various types of retainers and your dentist will advise you according to your needs.

What Invisalign® Treatment Can Do
Invisalign has successfully treated a broad range of cases from teeth crowding and underbites to jaw problems and teeth misalignment. With Invisalign, we can help you to transform your smile in no time.

Spaced Teeth
Abnormal growth of jaw bone and gaps left by missing teeth can cause the surrounding teeth to shift and space out. These spaces expose our gum, which increases the risk of developing gum disease.
Underbite
Underbite occurs when the lower teeth protrude past the upper teeth. This prevents the functionality of front teeth or molars, which can lead to tooth wear and tear. It can also cause painful jaw and joint problems.
Crossbite
The misalignment of upper and lowers jaws causes one or more upper teeth to bite onto the inside of the lower teeth.
When a crossbite occurs on both the front and the sides of the mouth, it causes abnormal tooth wear and chipping, leading to other problems like gum disease and bone loss.

Overbite
Known as “overjet” among dental professionals, overbite occurs when the upper teeth bite over the lower teeth, which can lead to gum disease, chipped or fractured front teeth. Overbite can be caused by the overdevelopment of the bone that supports the teeth, and bad oral habits.
Overly Crowded Teeth
When there is no room to fit all your teeth within your jaw, your teeth tend to crowd together. If left untreated, these overcrowded teeth can accumulate plaque, causing tooth decay and increasing the risk of developing gum disease.
Invisalign® treatment involves a series of custom-made trays of clear aligners, or “invisible braces”, that are changed frequently to move the teeth with absolute control and precision, resulting in straightened teeth.
Invisalign uses advanced 3D digital imaging software to accurately simulate your teeth movement from start to end, making treatment time much shorter, with most cases finishing within less than a year.
While its appearance is similar to plastic retainers, they are not the same thing. Invisalign’s patented Smart Track material is able to deliver constant light forces for up to 2 weeks, and Invisalign is built to withstand the oral environment and biting forces, whereas other materials can easily become deformed.
There is no age limitation for Invisalign treatment, so you can never be too old for it. Invisalign treatment is effective for both children and adults of all ages. In fact, Invisalign has gained worldwide popularity as a teeth straightening option due to the convenience and flexibility offered without the disruption of one’s daily activities.
Yes. We provide treatment for children as young as 8 years old, as long as your child’s teeth have developed to an appropriate stage. Invisalign treatment is just as safe and effective for children as it is for adults.
We will schedule a review appointment with you every 6 to 8 weeks to monitor your progress. If you are unable to come back within this period for review visits, please let us know in advance for us to make the necessary arrangements.
The total duration of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your oral condition. Typically, the treatment process ranges from 9 to 18 months. Your dentist will be able to provide you with more details during your consultation.
